	On a new CNC cutting line, DANIELI-FROEHLING (www.danieli-froehling.de) we performed tests to cut very thin aluminum. The machine’s technology, in conjunction with our knives (+ / - 0.0005 mm thickness tollerance), allowed for the first time, to cut 89 strips of aluminum of 0.080mm thick. Increasing volumes means also to improve the quality and production method and the loading and unloading of tools from the mandrel shafts, made by a robotic system, helps a lot. However, to ensure the proper functioning of the robotic mechanism, close tolerances of the tools are needed. Please submit your questions.
